Pregaforce 150 contains  Pregabalin 150mg is used in the treatment of  nerve pain/seizures caused due to diabetes, injuries or any other injury. Pregaforce 150 (Pregabalin 150mg) is an anticonvulsant drug that works in the central nervous system (CNS) to reduce pain signals from damaged nerves, prevent seizures etc. It does this by binding to the alpha2-delta subunit of voltage-gated calcium channels (VGCCs) in the CNS, which reduces calcium influx at nerve terminals. This in turn decreases the release of several neurotransmitters, including glutamate, substance P, norepinephrine, and calcitonin gene related peptide
Pain: Pregaforce 150 (Pregabalin 150mg)  reduces the release of chemicals that signal pain in the CNS. It also blocks VGCCs, which decreases the release of glutamate and sensory neuropeptides like substance P and CGRP at the synapse. 

• Seizures: Pregabalin may block abnormal electrical activity in the brain that causes seizures, which slows down the spread of seizures. 
• The recommended therapeutic dosage of pregabalin is 300–450 mg daily, divided into two doses. Patients may start with an initial dose of 150 mg per day, and increase to 300 mg within one week. Patients who don't experience optimal pain relief at 300 mg may be able to increase their dose to 450 mg per day. Pregabalin is eliminated by the kidneys in the urine, and has a relatively short elimination half-life of about 6.3 hours. Because of this, it's usually administered two to three times per day to maintain therapeutic levels.
