Regorafenib - Regolieva, is an oral multi-kinase inhibitor which targets angiogenic, stromal and oncogenic receptor tyrosine kinase(RTK). Regorafenib shows anti-angiogenic activity due to its dual targeted VEGFR2-TIE2 tyrosine kinase inhibition, it was as a potential treatment option in multiple tumor types.
Uses of Regolieva 40mg TabletRegolieva 40 mg tablet is used in the treatment of:
- Colorectal cancer has started to spread to other parts of the body
- Gastrointestinal stromal tumors (GIST) (a type of stomach and bowel cancer)
- Liver cancer in adult patients who have already undergone treatment with Sorafenib
The most common side effects of this medicine include infection, low blood platelets, anemia, decreased appetite, hemorrhage, and high blood pressure. It can also cause voice change, diarrhea, stomatitis, vomiting, nausea, bilirubin in urine, increased liver enzyme, rash, weakness, pain, fever, mucosal inflammation, and weight loss. If any of these side effects bother you, let your doctor know. Regular blood tests are required to check your blood cells along with liver functioning.
